The NY offices of my new employer are sending out alerts about the snow storm. Seems some people might not be able to make it into work due to the weather.
Somehow doubt they'll ever have a rain day here in LA.

i used to get so jealous of snow days and cancelled school. don't know how i knew about them...probably from the babysitters club books? it'd be funny if we got days off for weather. like, what? too much sunshine?

ReplyDeletewe actually got flood days as a kid. sometimes houston would get so flooded that they'd cancel school... so it's possible!
we were canceled due to wind once. weird.
ReplyDeleteof course the year they parked police boats in our neighborhood for flooding they didn't cancel school.
