Since I have no cable I'm reliant on DVDs.
Wednesday night I watched Alpha Dog which was especially interesting because all of that was happening in Claremont while I was tucked away at college.
Oh and the main character is commonly referred to as Johnny Hollywood by the press.
So tonight I'm watching Into the Wild which is about as far as you can get from last night's movie.
Main character changes his name to Alexander SuperTramp. Yes. Super Tramp
Oh and Leslie he was a hobo for a bit until he got caught and beat up. Totally made me think of you, Jamie, and my 6th grade b-day party.
Are you suggesting that Scripps sheltered us from the real world? Yuo mean not everyone was drinking tea and learning about "the other"? =)

ReplyDeleteand we did not incorporate beatings into my hobo party. we did a parade of costumes which was hysterical because one girl had her cardboard sign and coffee can. obviously she didn't understand the nuances between homeless and hobo.
