Sadly it's not some super exotic disease like swine flu. It was a very very common cold. In the end it upgraded to a respiratory infection but it still can't compare to an animal disease. Sigh.
In more exciting news my allergy doc decided I needed an epi pen. Watch out world here I come!
(I'm having flashbacks of bubble posts)
WHAT. Epi pen?? Under what condition are the people around you supposed to know when to use it? Jamie's supposed to carry one around, but you and I both know that ain't gonna happen. Instead I carry around a pile of ben and plan to crush the pink pills and lather the powder all over his anaphalaxicized tongue and eyeballs if i have to.
ReplyDeleteand i'm glad you got the zpak. Only 1-3 pills vs 20 pills a day for 75 days in a row of amoxicillin!
for my allergy shots. i'm supposed to wait 20-30 minutes after each one to see if i have a reaction. i was like, ummm i have a job to get back to so i can't wait that long. the epi pen is in case i drive away and stop breathing. odds of this happening are slim to none but they wanted to be safe.
ReplyDeletenow when jamie and i hang out i'll have him covered in case of anaphalaxicized shock! i'll share with you too if you need it. i'm a giver like that.
