It's all in the details. I've been to many weddings and my favorites were the ones that were a true reflection of the couple. The perfect example (and one that won't look like preferential treatment amongst all the amazing weddings my friends have had) was a cousin's wedding. Small chapel in the middle of a corn field. Reception in the park near the bride's house with games - think bocce ball, kick ball, frisbee, etc - and food made from family recipes. It was so perfect for that couple. Makes my heart smile just thinking about it (and that couple is having a baby any day now!!!)
Okay so I received an envelope
and inside the envelope were 2 pages of info and wedding week schedule (yes week)
then i got to the rsvp postcard. how cute is this?!
so that's how this trip began.
then we added 11 friends in one villa, one plane ticket bought far too late (and thus overpaid), and many humorous email exchanges between 11 friends in preparation.
eventually we did get to Mexico but not in this post.
the rsvp postcard is AWESOME!!
