Pash-Hoyt Wedding

One of the best parts of this wedding (and there were many best parts) was the way the families helped with all aspects of the big day. Some people did the flowers (there was a mother, an aunt, maybe a cousin and i think another aunt), some people built the chuppa (at least 1 brother, 1 step dad and 1 cousin were involved), others helped set up the tables, a family friend officiated and another friend was the photographer.

The groom was radiant and the bride was glowing. There were emotions (not telling who!) and there was laughter. The toasts were all amazing.

After the ceremony

and after the reception

and after the dancing

we all got in the pool

once in the pool everyone decided chicken fighting was a good idea. girls on guys shoulders. guys on girls shoulders. towers of people 3 tall. parents chicken fighting with their children. oh it was madness and so fun.

The end of the night Katherine and I were getting ready for bed when she noticed something was amiss.
Her hair was blue. Yes BLUE. Not a hint of blue in the right light but blue blue blue.

It was because of this blue hair that Katherine got her new nickname:
Blue Balls
She LOVES her new name! She gets upset if you don't call her by her new name.
