Top 3 Gifts

I'm having some issues getting the Christmas photos so I'm going to post my top 3 gifts. For those that know my Dad you know that he can be a bit eccentric. Not in a mad scientist way, well not always. He is a brilliant man with many special talents but for some reason shopping for gifts ... how do I say this? It's not his strongest skill. That's diplomatic. Sometimes the gifts are a little odd while other times they're quite brilliant.

For example this year he was at a Heart Association conference in New Orleans. I received a ball point pen/laser pointer from one of the pharmaceutical companies (free gift with attendance). Blake received every item that New Orleans has that has a saxophone on it. You can imagine how far that went (my personal favorite was the plastic beads with saxophones that Dad wrapped as a gift for Blake - not a joke - a gift).

So my Top 3 Gifts (really most amusing gifts of all time) are as follows:

#3 Lady shaped jewelry hanger - hopefully you can appreciate she is in a black formal gown. Mom received a green lady with a big hat (hangers underneath) and Natalie's Grandmother received a bright red woman's pump.

#2 - New Orleans Mermaid. I collect angel ornaments - have since I was a child - and I think he thought this was close enough to be worthwhile. I'm glad he did!

#3 - Merman - obviously he belongs with the Mermaid but is he a gigilo? I suspect he is. Note the red eye glasses, matching bow tie and cuffs.
