So Saturday was super duper fun. Unfortunately I'm bad about taking photos. Need to get better at that. Les, devs and Kath are all excellent at capturing life's moments.
Anyways the day started with my 2nd yard sale. The first one was not advertised and had very little turn out. This one I put out big old signs. BIG OLD SIGNS. We had a much greater turn out this time round.

At 12:20PM Mom flew in. For the afternoon. Yes just for the afternoon. Why you ask? To pick out my birthday present. Yes we'd tried to do it remotely (I send photos she and I decide what we like best) but in the end she decided she needed to do it in person and I was happy to have her visit - if only for an afternoon.
After birthday present selection we walked down Montana (a.k.a. shopped). I found this jar opener that I thought was stinking cute. Didn't buy it because why would I need a jar opener?
Fantastic weekend. Next time I'm going to try to talk Mom into staying for 12 hours.
did you make a lot of dough? was it worth it? what the what with the 1/2 day visit? crazy lady!
ReplyDeletemade a good amount of dough. totally wanted to make more (more money more money more money). in the end 100% worth it. covered moving expenses plus extra left over.

you can't post that your mom came for the sole reason to buy you a birthday gift, and then not say what she bought you! unfair!
